BOSTON, MA – Wonder and The Greg Hill Foundation’s Restaurant Strong Fund are proud to announce a new round of grants totaling $1,000,000 to support small business restaurants in key markets across the country. Funding is made possible by the Grubhub Community Fund.
This grant cycle marks the sixth year of support from the Grubhub Community Fund for the Restaurant Strong Fund. Launched during the pandemic to support independent restaurants, the program has since grown into an ongoing source of funding for small business restaurants across the country. Since 2020, the program has awarded more than 2700 grants to independent restaurants nationwide. Together, Wonder, Grubhub, and The Greg Hill Foundation continue to support independent restaurants and the communities they serve.
Beginning Monday, October 26, 2026, the Restaurant Strong Fund will accept applications on a rolling basis through Wednesday, November 11, 2026. Grants are designed to drive revenue growth and may support a wide range of operational needs, including but not limited to: upgrading technology or equipment, marketing and public relations services, staff training programs, incentive-based wages, and maintenance or enhancement of existing infrastructure.
Restaurants applying for funding must outline clear and specific plans for how the grant will be used and define measurable goals for expected growth. Grants will be awarded in the amount of $5,000 based on demonstrated need and potential impact.
All grant recipients will be announced on Giving Tuesday (December 1, 2026). Through the Grubhub Community Fund and The Greg Hill Foundation’s Restaurant Strong Fund, Wonder continues to support independent restaurants and local communities across the country.
